Schedule & Enrollment
The schedule is three trimesters per year: Spring, Summer, and Winter. (Four days per week – 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays.)
Students are placed in separate gender-based classes segmented by age groups.
Group 1: ages, 4-5; Group 2: female ages 6,7,8; Group 3: males ages 6,7,8; Group 4: female ages, 9-11; Group 5: male ages, 9-11; Group 6: female ages 12+ and Group 7: males ages 12+.
Approximately 40 children are enrolled, with a teacher/student ratio of 1/6.
The program’s director, Mr. Darryl Durham, is a graduate of John’s Hopkins University and Boston University. He comes to St. Anna’s from the Harlem School of the Arts, a nationally-recognized arts institution, which offers a similar program design.
